Excellent Hotel Just returned after a short stay for business and like everybody a bit wary of what to expect in these COVID times. From arrival to leaving everything was fine. The room was spacious and had all the usual items you would expect. All social distancing rules were in place and plenty of hand sanitizer. On arrival you were allocated a table for dinner and breakfast for the duration of your stay and you could have a drink with your evening meal - breakfast was chosen the previous evening as well a time allocation. The highlight though was the food - cooked to perfection and generous helpings.

Great food, friendly staff. Stayed 10 nights for work, despite Covid restrictions the food was excellent good quality and good size portions. Staff friendly and willing to help. Great value for money. Would have been a 5 star overall but the double room I stayed up was a little tight for space, so it's a 4 stars from me

Great experience A great nights stay ! Hotel was comfortable and very clean. Food was good and we were lucky to be able to help reopening the bar ? . Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful especially given the difficult circumstances. Very diligent regarding Covid measures . Outstandingly generous and kind hosts . I can only recommend

Nice rooms Visited the hotel for one night during business travel. Very positive experience. Nice, cozy and comfortable rooms. Friendly staff all over. Breakfast was very good and the best of traditional UK breakfast. Try the black pudding. Nice atmosphere in the bare as well. Next day we returned for a late lunch as well and we weren’t disappointed. Don’t hesitate to try out this hotel. Reasonable prices for accommodations and in restaurant.

Exceptional We had to change our travel plans on the day we were due to travel due to illness. I phoned the hotel that morning and the excellent receptionist sorted it all out. A few of the bigger hotels might learn from this. Exceptional service - thank you.

This is a top class hotel. When wondering in advance what this hotel might be like, I have to admit to having some decidedly conscious bias, based on my previous perception of Peterhead being a non-touristy, slightly run down fishing town. Consequently, re the hotel, wasn’t expecting too much. How wrong I was! The Palace is a modern and very smart hotel, and the furnishings and decor throughout are tasteful and top class. Reception was welcoming and efficient and when you look at the style and quality of the smart public area, there is no doubt that this hotel would fit in perfectly in a major city centre. We booked an Executive room and it was absolutely top drawer. The quality of decor and furnishings was as fine as in the public areas and the room was a very good size with a huge bed, comfortable settee, coffee table, desk and chair. There was also a large television, safe, tea making facilities and all the other things you would expect in a quality hotel room. Breakfast was served in a very attractive restaurant and, in addition to a splendid selection of hot and cold food on the buffet, you could order freshly cooked items such as omelettes, poached eggs or excellent smoked haddock. Service was charming, but that has been a constant theme throughout our visit. This is a top class hotel and I highly recommend it.

Pleasantly surprised On a business trip to the area I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. Thre is plenty of parking for hotel guests. Check in went smoothly, the reception staff were friendly and professional. My double room on the ground floor was spacious and very clean. Plenty of refreshments and snacks provided every day. I ate in the restaurant above the bar every night. The variety of food was excellent and specials changed every day. I found the prices to be good value for money. A 2 course meal and drink was about £23. Service was impeccable. The restaurant staff were attentive enough without being intrusive. Breakfast was a choice of hot and cold buffet and they serve decent coffee! I would definitely stay hear again.

Worth staying Attended a function at the palace and also checked in to stay there. Have to say the staff were all excellent and certainly customer focused. The dinner we had at the function was served timeously and our meals were also very warm and very tasty. Excellent experience and highly recommendable to stay.

Wee Holiday Booked in here so I could visit the Prison Museum. From check in to check out, I was very impressed by the professionalism and courtesy shown by ALL staff. My room was clean and very comfortable. The food was brilliant too!
